Standard Inspection

This is the standard home inspection required by most residential real estate transactions.

Typically I'm inspecting a home for roughly 3 hours, followed by a 1 hour walk through with the new home buyer.  During my inspection process I'm looking at all the various systems and structures of the home.  During our walk through we'll discuss various defects and if they need to be address immediately or not.  We'll also talk about maintenance, to maintain and enhance the value and livability of your new home.

Later, on the day of the inspection you will receive your inspection report.  This is a 30-40 page document that includes all findings of the inspection, as well as pictures and illustrations of the various defects to help you identify them later on.

Typically the buyer will then discuss the inspection findings with their Real Estate Agent to consider any further negotiations with the seller.

I'll give you a follow-up call a couple days after the inspection and address any questions you or your Real Estate Agent may have.  However, I'm always available to field questions from any of my clients at any time.
